What are you currently working on??

Guy called and said he was bringing me something to work on. Showed up with an Outlander?, whatever that is. Said it ran hot (watercooled). Told him to take it back home, not a 4-cycle engine for starters and I am not a 2-cycle guru!

I got tired of looking at the "Frankenstein" tractor in so many mismatched colors. Took the tins off yesterday and got everything ready for paint. going to make it IH red and pure white. I've got parts hanging to dry everywhere.
I took the back wheels off. Laid out and drilled them for the wheel weights I recently acquired.
Might reassemble most of it tomorrow. It will be another day to finish the hood since it will be two colors.
60-80% chance of rain tomorrow through Wednesday. Glad I got most of the paint done today.

Probably should have waited. But I got impatient this afternoon and put it back together.
The bottom part of the hood side will be painted white and have a white decal above it. Kinda like an IH 560.
The last picture is what this unit started life as. Cub Cadet 1864.
Next thing I have to do is polish the moldboard.
There is a plow day on Oct. 2nd we plan on going to.

I've gained 2 1/2"-3". With my Cub Cadet 782 if I was in a 6" furrow parts of the underneath would be dragging in the trash & dirt. And it would start building up under the tractor . Hopefully this won't happen now. I plan on taking this one and the 782 and compare the differences. if it plows good the 782 may get retired from plowing duty.
