What are you currently working on??

I worked on the #2 FF/20 yesterday. I decided to put the mower deck back on it. It's a 44" cut deck.

First, I had to take the homemade grader blade off.

Here's the brackets for it and the braket for the front blade.

Had to make a second post as it would only let me attach 5 pics(?).
I lubed the tractor, then installed the deck. I did sharpen the blades, greased the spindles, and checked the deck belt under the cover first.

I also changed out the hour meter. The one in it had died at 833 hours. I installed one I had taken out of a Ford that still works. It was reading 397 370 hours.

I'll get a pic of it today!

Well I'm working on a 1985 Suzuki LT125 quadrunner for my grandson. I picked it up last fall and he rode it for a couple months. The thing smoked like a bug fogger and skipped really bad. Tore the upper end down and the ring end gaps were almost .040. The oil control ring is one of 3 piece deals and both the scrapers were on top of one another. No wonder it smoked a little. New +.010 piston & rings and a new exhaust valve and it's on it's way back together. Sorry no pics computer is being problematic and not uploading pics from the camera. Next on the list will be my JD 140 H3. I need to fabricate a sleeve hitch set up for the Western NY fall plow day. Then last but not least will be my 1995 SkiDoo Formula STX . Got a set of bigger Mikuni carbs to install and a new rear suspension.

I've got a 112 with the integral sleeve hitch. If I can get some measurement for you, I'll help there!

I've had one of those since 1984
A LOT of fond memories on that rig.
It sat in the barn for 10 years, and we had to replace the tires, but it still runs today.
Al I got this one which is in really nice shape plus I have a parts machine as well. Tranny is messed up in the parts machine and finding trans parts for them is not an easy task. Engine runs but just doesn't move.

Cleaning up a Kohler Command 16 hp engine that got water in it. Have some light pitting near the top of the jug. Hope it hones out good enough. Needs new carb and piston w/rings. Compression release felw apart and go messed between the gear and case. Found a cam with lifters for $20. Might make a runner out of this yet.

Today I have been in my small engine shop ,So far this morning I have repaired a Weed eater,An gas powered air compresser,A stihl hot saw (Masonery saw)a cub cadet lawn tractor with broken steering one of those zero turn type tractors,Checked the spark on my gold wing, Put in new plugsShe is running real good now,This afternoon I need to reinstall a tuff torque trans in a jd 425 and make sure everything works and doesnt leak and deliever several pieces of equipment back to their homes:thumbs: I am actually enjoying myself at the shop,I havent been there much lately because of other work,I got some repair calls today on some other tractors that will be heading my way soon for repair!

Workin on a new potato hiller, which will be installed on my cultivator, hope to try it tomorrow. Tried turning just the depth wheel on an angle, and worked not bad, so ideas came to mind. Put an coulter on in place of the depth wheel. Will see what happens.

Finished mowing, then worked on chicken garden...

All done and seeded. Put in whatever stepmom didn't want for garden in future... Lettuce, arugala, some anise stuff...image.jpegimage.jpeg

Replaced a idler pulley on the Cub mule drive. Didn't sound right when I finished up last week after washing it off. Found one pulley real stiff. Had another drive so robbed a good one form it and back going again. Mow tomorrow so another short 2 hours of seat time on the diesel and about 30 min on the 1018 with narrower deck. Diesel has 50", 1018 has 42".
