What are you currently working on??

I got the 316 running decent right now. Got to drive it around. It's a little rough, but what do you expect for a $50 tractor.

No time for tractors, cutting 3 different properties, add a 4th helping my aunt and uncle since he broke his leg 2 weeks ago and
setting up the new bee hives.

Glad to hear it’s running again. For fifty dollars you did real good. A little love and it’ll be just like new.

Thought I had something I could make work, but the diameter was too large!

Well i have more projects then i can count yet again, the jd 300 smoked the pto clutch the craftsman needs a carb sensor but i found a carb on amazon so im going that route with that one. Im still searching for a clutch for the 300 though

Taking trailer for inspection this morning then to load her up and get ready for some Roots tractor action!!!! Not sure which ones will want to come along.

Made up a temporary set of mufflers for the 316. They will work til I find a muffler.

Been working on this more. Swapped carbs and got rid of the surging issue. Reset the valves while the intake was off.

Yesterday, I changed the engine and hydro oils.

Today Jr came to me and said his rider didn't start. Since the starter has been spinning slower and slower and now doesn't, I am assuming that it is the problem. I never got the selanoid fixed, so we have been jumping it. 3/4 wrench works great for a jumper on the selanoid, except today after it didn't start, I found a melted wrench and a melted selanoid. Guess he was trying a few times. Probably lost the Craftsman warranty on that one also. Most likely try to cobble a pull start off a junk mower on it this week. Not planning on throwing any money at it.

I just drug in a Power King 1614 out of a field. Twin transmissions and hydraulic three point hitch on it. The tires are loaded with calcium.... one rim is done, the other is showing the signs of following the same path as the first. The original ag tires arent terrible either. I have begun to take it apart.... lol

That moment you realize that the idea of spinning an engine with a drill might not have been the best move. As the engine stopped spinning and the drill started its rampage only to be stopped by a chunk of flesh called an arm. Totally twisted my socket driver in the drill.
