What did you do with your tractor today?

Congratulations Eric that’s a nice entry and a handmade trophy the first showing. A day to remember.

Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it . It ain’t the tractors first showing if that’s what you mean but a show like this with cars trucks and tractors, and not just a fair then yes it is. It definitely is a day to remember for me considering I wasn’t expecting to get anything except maybe 3rd at best. I’m “on cloud 9”. I may take the tractor to another show exactly like this too in a couple weeks on the 22nd too but I’m not sure yet.

You did good Eric . You deserve it.....

The MF1450 moved some junk, and the JD110 got it's first chore since it has been running---mowing! Don't want to double post.

Bet you 3 to 1 you had more fun than the guy with the Massy... ;)

Actually, surprisingly no. I would have if they did not cancel the tractor parade they normally have this year. They came up with a BS excuse of “there’s too many people to have it” when it’s the same amount that’s normally there, and when an atv with lights and sirens normally leads the parade….. but what do I know. I hate to say it but I probably WON’T be going back to this fair after the 8 years I been going.

Eric has a forth one too.
Wonder if he measured to see if it will fit on the back..Width way that is.

Well hang on now Bill, remember 2 of those on that trailer are my stepdads tractors. Only one of those, which is the one in the middle is mine. If you count the yellow 6 horsepower with headlights I’m restoring that’s the 2nd one for me, this one here….. 6hp Craftsman Power Unit Restoration. But if you also count my new hydrostatic one here….. Another Craftsman?, Yup. Slightly Different Than My Others........ then that makes 3 total. Plus I still have the ‘65 “Heavy Duty” Craftsman too. Regarding measuring things, my stepdad and I were actually looking and thinking about that when the trailer was out. We’re thinking we can at least one more on the back turned sideways.

Well Eric too many more and you're going to need something bigger..

A semi truck like that with a long trailer would be a nice option, and my stepdad loves the old kenworth k100 aerodyne “flat nosed” trucks and always wanted one, and I could probably fit 75-100 on that trailer….. hmmmm ha ha. I been thinking about getting a bigger trailer too, specifically somethin like these……

I told my stepdad about this, that I wanted to buy a bigger trailer AND keep my current one and he says “where you gonna put it?”. So I gotta rethink things because we have such a small backyard and that means I would have to either A,) get rid of my current trailer to keep the bigger one or B,) keep the trailer I got now in the backyard and find a storage place to put the bigger trailer. We’ll see down the road though, for now health comes first especially now…… oh and finding either a newer truck or fixing the one I got IF I can get the part cause mine is broke and the part is hard to get.

Did some garden clean up with the Sears SS15. I haven’t used it in awhile and it was running a little lean I had to choke it a bit to keep it running. Adjusting the carb didn’t help so I’ll change the fuel filter when I get a chance. I cut down all the corn stalks for Fall decor it’s an annual thing with Carol and our two girls.

Grunt and I are working on cleaning up the mess from sawing and splitting wood thru the summer. Going to be about 5 loads of that. These are the times I wish I had a hydraulic loader on a garden tractor. That stuff is just nasty to get a shovel into and heavy.

Taking pictures of the tractor today with its new trophy from this past weekend, taking it up the road for a drive, and hopefully swapping its spot where it is with my hydro so I can work on that now since the show and fair season are over……

Very nice Eric! I don't blame you for being proud of those trophies. You worked hard to build a nice tractor!
