What did you do with your tractor today?

The 3410 I got when I had the house built back in1996. I didn't realized at that time I could have gotten a new Souverain with all of the good to work with it. I haven't taken any pics of the B 10. I need to put a battery in it so I can take out where I hunt and do some mowing with it.

Mowed with the Kubota and then aerated with the MF 8E. It is supposed to rain this afternoon so I will go out and overseed the yard in a bit. A 25lb. bag of seed and the broadcaster setting at 6 will cover all of the yard except the the area on the north side of the shop. It doesn’t need an help!

While in the shop this afternoon and shuffling tractors around the wife volunteerEd to sweep the floor. So I put some of them out in the yard.

The MF8E stayed in it’s corner. The Elec-Trak E12s hasn’t been fixed yet. The homemade is still on the lift.
I just put the Mocraft up for sale so naturally it wouldn’t start, and stayed inside.

Fora week, I've been debugging flickering head lights and then they just quit working.

Checked all bulbs, inspected and did continuity checks, power voltage checks, etc. Cleaned connections with CRC electronics cleaner, etc.
After 2 hours, I found the trouble maker. It was the inside guts of the switch.

Here it is all buggered up inside.

Can't use harsh cleaners either. The trace board is phenolic. The CDC product is made for this material.

Retested and it worked. The machine has lights again.

Then went out to mow the front hwy ditch. I only mow there with all the lights on, flashers and rear work light. Too many nuts on the road.

I decided awhile back I don’t have time to work on my recently acquired Cub Cadet 108. It’s been waiting patiently near my shop since I got it, I just have too many other things to do before winter. I used my Sears SS 15 to tow the Cub out to its winter home until Spring.

What did you do with your tractor today?…..

Did a photoshoot ha ha. In my previous post I mentioned that all 4 of the tractors were loaded on my trailer and in my stepdads truck, and I was going to a show with them. The show was held in Woodbury by the FFA and it was the 1st one they held. I went there for 9am and hung out till 2:30, and to my surprise walked away with a handmade 2nd place trophy in the tractor class. The trophies were handmade by the FFA so I was honored to get it and can’t stop staring at it, the wrench is even made in Germany…..
