First thing I thought as well! I should have said Great Granddaughters, in my post though.I noticed that too Chris
I was thinking the other night you might not should work on that Yardmax because of voiding your warranty.Long time before I start thinking about mowers, other than that $%@# Yardmax. 7° with 2° wind chill this morning.
I am not working on it. Just opened the air cleaner filter and sprayed carb cleaner in to start it. Not doing anything more.I was thinking the other night you might not should work on that Yardmax because of voiding your warranty.
Not going to give them the satisfaction of getting someone else to video me trying to start that thing. Already told them that. Besides we don't have video capabilities, only flip phones. Will get still photo of the dead machine and the vin tag so they can verify the unit. Gave them the phone number of the business and the service managers name to call and verify with them that Yardmax is paying to get the thing to start without using starting fluid. That’s ridiculous how can they tell what part it needs by you cranking it. Tell them your going to get your granddaughter to video you showing how it won’t start and how you haven’t got much use out of it then post it on every forum you belong to along with YouTube. Tell them Spring time is coming and you need to use this.
Nice, Marty! Did you do a build thread here or on GTT for that? If not could I see more pics? I have some stuff I think would work for that kind of bucket. Not really in a position to build a FEL. I plan on spreading a lot of pea gravel at some time and it sure would be a labor saver to build something similar. Probably would be on the MF1450. My bucket would be rounded. I have a 60 gallon air compressor tank that could be cut into one.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Sadly, Sears did away with the front mule drive in 1981 with the new model GT's.Marty I’ve seen them Johnny Buckets for the Sears they look real handy. I always thought the Sears had a good all purpose slide mount in front for various uses especially home made items.
Thanks, Marty! I really appreciate the ideas! I see what you mean by using dual arm mounts. I will try to come up with a plan one of these days!I thought I had done a write up on GTT, but can't find it.
Here are a few older pics and I snapped a couple last night in the barn.
I made a mule drive slide in for the winch and blade mount. The bucket I bought from a couple brothers local who cobbed it all together. I modified their mount and it's been working for years. They used a wood fence gate latch as the trip Latch. I modified it so it trips bucket when raised high enough.
I found an actually Craftsman "Johnny bucket" I may modify someday to work on this. I would in the future make dual arm mounts for the bucket as this things goes side to side and not really linear in function. Single center arm is fine for the snow plow which I originally made this for.
