What did you do with your tractor today?

Thanks.

I needed another 3 ton (the area in front of GT/zero turn needs to be covered) but my back said "not today".
I need to do the same to our driveway but like you I wanted to break it up some before I get it delivered. I’ve almost got a rear rake blade made for one of my three point hitch tractors but like a lot of things I have started but not finished. If I don’t get some things fixed and finished and out of the shop I’m going to have to enter my shop through the roof. Lol

I put all the G.T.s except one out in the sun this afternoon. Thought it might burn the stink off of them.
That is why Edy makes me go stand in the sun. :D
Everything fired uo except the Mocraft. I didn’t bother putting a battery in it. It was by the door and rolls easy. The J.D. 110 needed a jump and air in the rear tires. I should use it more often.

I did some spring maintenance on the driveway yesterday. I tried out the blade I got a couple weeks ago for my Cub. I had mounted it on the front at first, but changed it over to mid mount. It works great. I really like that you can tilt it to dig in on one side. I was able to crown the driveway so hopefully water runs down the sides instead of the middle now. My dad helped me with the 882.

I finished up with the 125 and rake. It started right up after sitting all winter. I didn’t even have to charge the battery.

I just love the way that blade works for you. I’m envious to say the least.
Now what you need is a good roller. Made mine out of an Anhydrous Ammonia tank. It gets borrowed a lot but I don’t mind because it’s about indestructible.
It pushes the rocks down into the ground so they don’t get kicked off to the side of the driveway and the compaction helps eliminate erosion.

Brought home one of my Ariens gt16s just a little bit ago. It hasn't been run since about last July. Had to splash a little gas in the carb to get it primed, I ground on the starter til it was nearly dead, then pushed it out of the barn, it didn't want to move very easily. I'm surprised that it had enough left in it to crank over at all. We got it outside and my wife hit the key one last time and it fired up....
I got this one 2-3 years ago off of eBay, it cost me more in time and gas for the truck than the winning bid finished at.... And the PO drove it on my trailer. Came with a really nice deck and a snow blade.
Typical for Ariens, the wiring was a mess. I went to start it when I got there and the PO came over with a screwdriver and jumpered something (not the solenoid) to get it to run.
I had just blown up the series 1 KT 19 on another Ariens, I had another motor ready to drop on that one but found more issues with the tractor itself and was actually looking for parts to redo it when I found the listing for this one. I thought it was a scam, a mistake. Surprised nobody else seen it.... though they listed it as an "old 1985 relic" which may have turned some people off....
I put the homemade wiring harness from the dead tractor onto this one and saved the rear PTO from the dead tractor and transplanted it to this one.
I mowed with it the rest of that year and part of last year and it started acting up, either the fuel pump or the fuel line that runs the length of the tractor is collapsing I believe.
I brought it home to straighten out the running issue, hook up the 2 wires for the pto (it's all mounted, just needs hooked up) so I can put my rear mount tiller onto it, as I need to redo my front yard. I don't feel like taking the snowblower off the other GT19 I still have to mount the tiller, even though I haven't needed it in 2 winters now, as it's the only other one I have with the rear PTO.
Since I have this one I can leave one tractor set up each way.
And that tiller actually came to me with the GT19 that I blew up mowing a ditch bank 2 years ago. The PO of that one had used it as a dedicated tiller machine...so I don't have to undo the snowblower from my other machine if I don't want to.... It's cold and windy here today and tomorrow so it can stay on the trailer for a couple of days.... I don't have the room in the garage to get it in there. I'll deal with it later in the week when it warms up a bit and the colder wind is gone

I junked out the 2nd GT19;when it blew because it had sat outside alot before I got it, and I was tired of everything that wouldn't fre up from rust, breaking on me while trying to free things up .. saved alot of good parts off of it before it went away though... Probably most of what I had replaced on it since I got it for sure plus a little more
