What did you do with your tractor today?

Haven't used the tractors much lately either.
It's faster for me to mow my yard with a push mower than a tractor even at 1/2 or less of the width of the tractor. Wind up having to push the edges anyway, which covers about 1/3 of the yard again anyway.
About all the gt16 has been used for this season is as a tug to move my utility trailer or popup camper a few times, otherwise it just sits unused. A 48 is too much deck for me. I did get it out and ran it around a bit last nite, gets dark way too early these days. Thinking of selling this one, have it listed "over there", we'll see how it goes. Got a guy sort of interested, he's wanting me to bring it about 1/2 way which will be 4-1/2 hours by his estimate. And I know that I-55 is a cluster &#$@ of construction right now, for the first 1-1/2 hours of that, don't know how it is beyond that. Last couple of times I have had to go that way I've had to take the old 66. Slower, 2 lane but easier with a trailer than fighting construction zones.
Looking like if I did this that 9 hours of windshield time could wind up at actually being 12+. Told him that I was thinking I'd go maybe 2-1/2-3 hours or so, at most each way from here. Well see, this picture thing is getting to be a pain, sent several but "not of what he wants to see".... Gotta see how many miles that would be, so I can figure out how much to ask for fuel and expenses.

My only tractor seat time was to move 2 trailers with my Kubota for a neighbor. Her husband was still at work with their only vehicle with a hitch, and she was having a prebuilt 8x30 outbuilding delivered. They weren't expecting it delivered until tomorrow.
Was lazy today. Wood was to far from splitter. I didn’t want to walk that far to get it. So, brought out the MF 14 bulldozer and pushed the pile a little closer to splitter. Ya just got to do that to save your body from all that extra work. Hehe.

A bit of a tug, but the LGT 100 Ford pulled the trailer to the garden hose. Wanted to clean the bed of the trailer some before I treat the wood for
winter.

The spliter is on wheels and you have to pick up or move the split wood anyway so why not simply move the spliter? I love the way the same piece of equipment gets different names as it travels across country. Your "Bench Saw" has been called a Buzz Saw in this neck of the wood as long as I can remember. I have a pickup load of wood being delivered today, fireplace wood not main heating wood.
Circular saw?
Circular saw is like a Skil Saw, or power hand saw. Buzz saws can be 3 point, frount frame or stationary. Have used all 3 and they all work well. Kind of wish I had one again but no way to power it now. Not sure a 16 Vanguard would do the job - would need a big flywheel on it for sure.
"Mowing Monday" got rained out! A bit colder and the grass would be frozen too! Yesterday afternoon I got the MF12G out of it's spot against the wall, greased and gassed it in hopes of being able to mow but looks like winter may arrive before it can be done. The grass is still green and WAS growing! May get frosted any time now.

run the cultivators a few rows today to rid any baby weeds starting to pop up since watering like crazy the last week in the large garden patch
Nice Executive, Burnerman! It looks very complete and unmolested! I've almost got mine ready for snow removal, seems not too soon either. Last January pic, I modified it a little more since. Welcome to TF Forums!

No rain for a couple days so had to mow this afternoon. Gout about 2.5 hours of seat time on the CC1512. Performed just like it is supposed to, wet grass an all. SO had er 1016 out and mowed her area for about an hour then a little like the dog pen and around the flowers, etc. with the push mower. Got it all mowed up once more time. Talking frost Thursday night so this just might do it.
