What did you do with your tractor today?

You got snow today _ floater_ ? We didn’t get any.
Looks to be working good. Is that Honda one of those 4 wheel drive ones. Any pictures of it. ?

Noel.

Yeah Noel we've been getting snow when nobody else does this year. It's usually just the opposite...when northern New Brunswick gets snow, we usually get rain. It's reversed this year. I don't think the Island or Cape Breton had anything last night either.

Yup. 4 wheel drive/4 wheel steer.
Loads of pictures here:

Ahh. That’s what I was thinking it was. A fella down the road from me has one. He has had it for years. He used it for grass cutting, blowing snow and tilling. Did some work with it as a side business. They are a rare tractor. I believe they are four wheel drive all the time. No selector for two and four wheel drive. I think this fella has a three point hitch on the front of his too.
Thanks for the information Mark.

I got to plow snow for about 45 minutes with the MF8E tonight after work! It was almost dark when I got done so no pictures. We had 3 foot drifts in a couple places in the driveway and bare gravel in the rest.

DAC

got a load of gravel early this am so spent the day levelling it with the 7020L, trying to expand my driveway some.

Got a new starter from Amazon ($45) and put it on. The old Honda flashed right up. Blew out a dusting in my neighbour's yard to make sure everything is set for the medium sized storm expected tomorrow. Forecast for 20-25cm, which usually means 30.
This will be the first real test for the snowblower and blowing snow with both doors on! EXCITED :p

The RT500 is the only one that doesn't have selectable 2 or 4 wheel drive. It's the bottom of the 4x4 series. Next up is the 5013, which is 13hp, 2 more than mine. Then there's a 5513 and a top line 5518. Wish I could find one of those!

I think the RT5000 was the oldest of the Honda tractors was it not? The original one. Then later came the 5013, 5518, 6522? I’ve been looking for a 5013 or 5518 for awhile now but can’t seem to get the money lined up when the tractors are for sale lol. A bunch came up for sale right after I bought my 7020, go figure.

Still cleaning up around from the big storm we had Sunday. Had the 7020 cleaning around buildings, took the 444 out for the first time since fall, wanted to move it closer to the door, I plan on putting the snowcaster on it soon. We have another storm coming tomorrow but probably won’t have it on in time.

Mark, your getting more than I am, I’d say. Let us know how it works for you. Gald your excited. You can come and do my driveway. If you want. Hehe.

Noel
From what I can tell it's not supposed to let up until after supper. Here's a couple of pics of what's down so far. The ground was almost bare last night. And I'll clear that Confederation Bridge of yours on the way Noel.

I got the MF 12 out, and did some clean up. About 1/2 way through the storm I’d say now. About 6” so far. And I got a new toy. Electric chainsaw.
