What did you do with your tractor today?

Mark. You weren’t here to clean my driveway yet, so I started it for you. You must be stuck on the confederation bridge.

Hehe

Noel
You wouldn't believe it. A gust of wind blew me off the bridge, but as luck would have it, I landed on a barge full of mattresses bound for Halifax. Just got back and hour ago. I'll head out in the morning and take another run at it. Stay in bed with Momma and don't bother getting up until you hear bad bearings growling in the driveway.

We got an average of 15" of dry packed snow. Used the Honda to clean up my yard and my two neighbours yards. Took longer than I expected and I definitely need more heat to keep the windows from fogging up, but all in all it worked as good as I could ask for what it stands me. I find the controls a little cumbersome. You're basically reaching to all four corners of the cab to change gears, turn the chute, engage the PTO and lift and lower the can. I'm sure I'll get used to it after a couple times out. Just a matter of getting comfortable with finding levers in the dark and the most efficient sequence. I had to shift down to 2nd from 3rd, snow was piling up in front.
Happy.

Ya Mark, that’s about what we got. I had things sort of clean up last evening, but we got more overnite. So got things cleaned up some this morning, I finish it through the day.
Sitting by fire to get warmed up.

Noel

Happy.

Good video enjoyed the music too

Got the chance to use the modified IH 1650 with snow thrower today. Neighbor got the bulk of the cent cleaned out with his new Telahandler. Tried the walk behind yesterday but it would no push through the 1/2" ice crust on top. It was no match for the 1650 today even though the wind kept swirling around. Got the tractor and thrower without a motor. Put a B&S 16hp twin in it, so don't let anyone tell you it can't be done. Added 75 lb weights to help it along a bit.

Used the Ranger to take some cracked corn down the dirt road to the pheasants and quail. Then filled the box with firewood and hould it up to the mud room and stacked it in there. Trip to the Machine shed to get big arm full of cedar scrap sticks 6' long to cut up for fire starter. That is it for the day I think. That Ranger with the rear end lock and 4X4 is so much better to get around in than a tractor and cart Would not want to be without it.

That’s a lot of snow Mark, 5 yards. I only got 1 yard at my place. And that was enough.

Noel
Neighbours on each side and two across the street. They were all at work so I figured I'd turn their home time into home time. I just mess around all day anyway, so it was a pleasure to clear them without them knowing :)
Looking at another 10-15cm of wet stuff tomorrow.
