What did you do with your tractor today?

I managed to get the yard mowed.
Then I drove all the runners outside and washed them.
There is supposed to be a small fall festival here the first weekend in Oct. I will probably put out a display of Garden tractors.
So the shiny ones will probably get polished.
While I had the pressure washer out I washed off some mats that I 've had for several years.
I bought about 50 of these foam mats for $5.00 at a garage sale. 24" x 24" . I've given away a bunch of them.
They work great in front of the workbench. But I like them best as a knee pad, or connect them together for laying on the floor.
They were ready for a good cleaning.

It's not technically a tractor, but I rebuilt the carb and freed a sticking intake valve on the 7 hp Kohler on a Troybilt Horse I got cheap some time ago. I've used it the past two evenings to till my backyard to reseed in the next day or two. It's doing a great job.

Put the tractors in garage, for safer keeping. Hopefully. Hurricane coming Tuesday and Wednesday. Not sure exactly yet it’s travel and winds. Put away lawn chairs, stuff like that.

I have three jobs to do today.
1. Separate Rocks and dirt, and dump the rocks (after my Son loads the trailer).
2. Finish the trench (after my Son moves the bricks).
3. Mow the grass.
Can't complain about the seat time. Weather is great!

Seems to be warming up here some, until Wednesday. But the cold is coming. I really hope to have all my potatoes dug and wood done by first or so of October. Then I will hibernate, until next May, or maybe June.

Hibernate in your shop or your son's shop using the H@!$T---LOL! Plenty to do in the cold weather too. I haven't had any tractors fired up since the last Mowing Monday three weeks ago I think---LOL! Hoping to mow one more time, but the leaves are starting to drop and I don't want to be breathing chopped up leaves. Maybe this Monday but my wife has it off and she has a new toy which I will show in the "what are you currently working on?" thread. That may keep me side tracked from tractors.

I miss the Mowing Monday’s Episode. Hehe. Oh well next year.

Which shop would you be in Doug. Hehe.

Fortunately Mowing Monday is normally boring! I don't like the drama of breakdowns and getting stuck like was happening a couple years ago! On the shop, your son keeps my flavor beer and has a H@!$T so it's a no brainer---LOL!

Another 1/2 cord of hardwood ready to get moved by the Case, so it can be put away.

Yesterday I got the CC 1512 out and finished up the mowing. Probably the last time this year. This morning went to get the Bolens H16XL out it had a flat RF. Tried to air it up and it was leaking out a crack center tread as fast as I put it in. Jacked it up, drove the roll pin out, flat one off replacement wheel with air on and roll pin back in. Tractor is dedicated to the front blade so don't get a lot of run time. Moved some walnuts into the brush pile further. The leveled out a pile of rock left from the garden railroad. Put that tractor back in the shed. Couple months ago I saw the LR was down on the IH1650 snow thrower tractor. Blocked it up and aired the tire up. This morning I removed the blocks and the tire still had plenty of air to run so drove it to the shop, aired it up to 10 lbs., serviced the show thrower, greased the front end on the tractor, ect. Will let it sit for an hour or so and see what happens. Wheel has chains and 75lb weight on it so not anxious to have to work further on it.
