What did you do with your tractor today?

Finally had the 7020 out of the shop for some testing. She's fit to work but still needs some attention. Moved some stuff around with it, graded the driveway at my place, and bushhogged the corn stalks in my garden with the hydracutter.

New parts came for my PTO shaft. I accidentally ordered 48" of 3/4x7/8 slip yoke so I cut that to length and have lots left over lol.
It's burger night so I'll probably wait until tomorrow to assemble and put in line. No snow now anyway. We're actually expecting 15c temps next week!

Are these the 15 tooth 1” PTO’s that fit MF’s as well?

The bearing cap holes in the yoke with the rectangular slip-shaft welded to it are too big for the U-joints I ordered. Don't know yet if it was my fault or a mistake on their end. It was the only piece they sell that mates with the female part so I'm hoping they'll replace it for me.

All the tractor are in the sheds. Been there for a month now or better. Have a 22" 2 stage walk behind snow thrower in the garage to clear a path out the door. Drive is only about 50 yds long and 25' wide so wouldn't take long to clear that with the walk behind. Need it to clear a path to the animals for chores, etc. and the ground is to steep for tractor driven stuff. Wouldn't make me a bit unhappy if I didn't get a thing out till the end of March.

Had to put a tube in the RR 316 tire. It was seeping through weather cracks in the tread. It was a pain to remove the wheel weight to air it up every couple weeks. So while I was at it I drilled a hole inside for the tube to be aired up. I'll do the other side later on.

Yesterday was Christmas tree puttin in the house day. So I had to use a tractor to get the tree to the house, right. Grandson was watching me goin. Plus had family over for dinner. Wife gone away, so I was chief cook. Chicken dinner and biscuits. I made two batches of biscuits. Had potatoes, carrots, turnip, peas, corn, green and yellow beans. I was some tired last nite.

Stitting here knawing on a piece of jerky then I see that fine looking meal! Your wife is lucky to have a cook like you, Noel! Sure opposite here! That tree don't look like it would fit through the door much less stand up!

I got the 7012 out yesterday and mowed the leaves in the back yard, didn't have enough time before dark to get the ZT mulcher to finish before it rained at night.

We got 2-3" of really wet snow overnight. Threw on the rear blade along with front blade and cleared drive. Probably a waste of time as it's getting warmer and will rain but got a few mins of seat time.

Not a tractor per se but used the Ranger to haul 6 - 5 gal pails of corn to the basement door for the stove. Saves carrying them 30 yds.
