Doug, looks to be in pretty good shape body wise. Nice extra vehicle to have around.

Thanks John, I think it's going to be all right, guess we'll see this winter! Can't beat the price so what the heck!

Nice lookin jeep. They say those jeeps were good for off roading because they had good approach and descend angles. Ya, yard stick works fine Doug. Hehe

Noel

Wife doesn't like the ride the tires have but they are a Michelin LT mud and snow. Up to 80 psi loaded. I think the pressures probably can come down some but I haven't checked them yet. Has good ground clearance too besides the approach angles. Got a few places up in the Black Hills we may test that approach angle thing on one of these days! The yard stick worked fine for me last night but it will be a thing of the past soon, Noel---LOL!

I added a 6-position tuner from Xtreme Diesel Performance to my 1995 Ford F250 that has a 7.3L PowerStroke diesel engine in it.
PowerStrokes came out in 1995, and mine is an early build with a Sept 1994 build date. From the factory, these first-year trucks were VERY under-tuned, even compared to just a couple of years later. I have had this truck since 2011, it had 70,000 miles on it then, just went over 150,000 recently. These days, it is relegated to pulling our 34' Avion travel trailer, or for whatever I need a truck for..... no more daily driver.

The tuner's 6 positions are: 1 = "stock", 2 = high idle, 3 = +50 hp, 4 = +75 hp, 5 = +100 hp, and 6 = +150 hp.

I took it for a spin after installing, and the improvement is very noticeable in each of the "+" positions..... it's like the truck woke up! I am looking forward to our next outing with the trailer..... heading to Red Rock Canyon park in Hinton, OK...... about 275 miles from here, with lots of really good hills to go through just south of here on our way toward I-40. Curious to see how it feels with this tuner! Should be very evident.

Changed battery cables in my AC B 10 so I could use the right size battery. This the third tractor that I have had to change the cables as former owners don't like to spend the money for the proper battery and just buy the smaller cheaper one.

Luckily this is still on, and they said the tractors are already showing up! I'll be going this Friday.

What's a tractor show? 2020 has me brainwashed as I haven't been able to go to a single one "discontinued" cancelled. postponed then cancelled is all Im hearing within 100-ish miles of me in any direction
Not exactly a "Tractor Show". But my brother and I will be displaying our G.T.'s this Saturday, next to the Casey's in Rossville. There is supposed to be several Craft Vendors. The lady in charge likes to have the G.T.'s there for the husbands to have something to look at.
And you know you want to come see us again.:confused::D Rick

I have a couple older Brinley plows. I decided that the Speedex needed to be able to have one mounted on it, but it didn't have a sleeve hitch. First I had to remove the drawbar that was bolted on the rear lift and replace it with a homemade sleeve hitch. I had plenty of small steel pieces stashed, so I cut, drilled and welded what was needed. I had some round material that was 5/8ths ID but was only 2 1/2" long. Two pieces were beveled and welded together, then shortened to 3 1/2". The sleeve and nuts were welded to the back side of the bracket. I made fully threaded bolts by cutting the head off of two carriage bolts and welding nuts on them. After painting and installing on the rear lift I now have something to display on the Speedex this weekend. Next up is to refurbish the plow.

Trying to get this Husqvarna DRT700 Tiller running to see if the engine is salvageable. It was stuck because water got in the cylinder, oil was milky. If not, it may get a HF Predator stuck on it.

It has both fwd. & rev. for the tines.

Well the tiller will get a new engine! I pulled the valve cover on this one and saw no movement on either rocker arm!
