What are you currently working on??

This is the Chinese Coleman that I put the upgraded engine and TAV belt drive on it. This thing boogies now. When I bought it it ran about 18mph and struggled to climb hills. Now it shoots up anything and runs about 40mph if you are brave enough!

This is the current project. 1969 Rupp Roadster built in Mansfield ohio. Full suspension. Used to be a road legal bike way back when. Had a tecumseh H50 on it from the factory. It's getting the 196cc honda clone and parts left over from the coleman. After it's running and driving I'm going to strip and paint it. I've owned the frame frame 11 years. I've never done anything other than look at it every couple years.

Currently waiting on parts. I spent 150 on the parts to put it together plus the left over honda clone puts me at 250 in it plus the 50 I paid for the rolling frame 11 years ago. 300 bucks. I think I am going to lost it on Craigslist for 500 and take less if someone wants it.

Shoveled snow, but it kept snowing so I got out the walk behind snowblower to remind me why I hate snowblowers. Constant blizzard and my glasses had a coating of ice on them even. Oh well the concrete areas are better now as the snow has stopped for the time being. Since it's going to be a long cold spell and there are no drifts, we can just pack it down on the gravel.

Once I thawed and dried out got a little more stuff done on the MF1450.

Day 1 of ‘too cold to report to work’.
Already, the wheels have fallen off:

Took them off, broke the bead and replaced the valve stems with metal ones. Then hauled to town to get loaded with beet juice. Should come back 100 pounds heavier, each.

Staying in the house where we belong. Split a bit of wood this morning. Dog did not want out for his usual walk and don't blame him one bit.

Got the rims back. Very heavy, about to go blow out the shed drive and paths to check it out.
Also refueled for the first time. Just over 1/4 tank left, took 4.5 gallons to fill. It was filled with 1.6 hours on it, it now has 11.1 on it.

I run just over half throttle. Anything over that and I’m putting snow on the road or the neighbor’s.
Test with the loaded tires went well. Sloped areas I had an issue backing out of without 4wd are no longer a problem.

Had something show up at work today that is right up my alley, a 1930's to early 40's John Deere BN tractor. I was told to see if I could get it running, half a day later, success! The old girl is tired though, once I got it going I could see the crank shaft has at least 1" side to side play.

The flywheel has loosened up. There are two bolt inside of fly wheel. On hub that hold flywheel to splinded shalf. loosen them up drive on to get 15 thousand clearance tight bolt as tight as you can.
thanks Bill

IT LIVES!! Got some more done on my " Frankenstein" tractor. With the electrical done I fired it up and took a cruise outside.
Still needs foot boards, a hood, a grill, and rerouting the hydraulic lift to the rear. Haven't decided to go with a sleeve hitch or a 3 point.
I'll have to do some fabricating for either one. And eventually it will need some paint. At last count I have pieces/parts from 7 different units.
And a 50cal. ammo box for an onboard tool box.

Tractor needs serious work, clutch needs rebuilt, crank seals are shot. I had to adjust the timing, the valves, carburetor and clean the shut off valve on the fuel tank, and change the oil and filter. Oil was almost as thick and black as the tar they spray on road base before paving. . Looks like they just drug it out of a barn and threw new rubber on it. They also had me put a chrome straight pipe on the exhaust

CRF6179, what size are the front and rear tires. She looks good. Be nice when painted up.

Noel
Fronts are 4.80x12 on solid style trailer rims, since I couldn't find any Cub rims at a decent price.
Rears are 6x16 on Jeep/Chrysler space saver rims.
I gained 3" ground clearance. Which will be nice when plowing.
My 782 Cub Cadet always picked up a lot of trash underneath when plowing.
Hopefully I'll get the correct geometry on the hitch and plow and trash won't be a problem.

Got the Rupp together enough to run. It's not finished but for testing it all its good enough. Can't do that as I have a lot of snow in my yard.

Also added a header to the coleman.

Going to post them on Craigslist and see if I can pick up a Kawasaki KLX110L to play with.
