What are you currently working on??

I just saw my daughter this morning. Gave her all my outdoor lights. And brand new bulbs I just bought alittle while ago, thinking I was going to put up out door lights. Not any more. So today maybe the last I see her before her baby is born next week.
Found the chains that came with the Case 224 at my sons place and maybe get them on today. Maybe. Any way, have a good day members,

Noel
Congratulations on the new grand baby Noel praying everything goes well next week.

I've spent the last few days doing a hurry up project on the JD 140. I tried using it with some temporary forks attached to the bucket. But it kept the weight too far out from the tractor. I've been moving some sections of old iron fence and could only do two sections at a time. Cold ,wet weather set in so I got busy in the shop and built a carraige and forks to replace the bucket. That with some more added weight to the 3 pt. allowed me to carry five sections at a time today. After removing the bucket I replicated the mounting brackets, and added some angle iron. Made the forks from some square tubing and mounted them with some thick wall pipe. The forks will swivel up and attach to the top crossbar with a bungee cord for hauling in the trailer. I can make it heavier duty if I need to, but this configuration should do most of what I would want it for. Everthing I used came from the scrap pile and my steel stash. Alot of it came from a carrier for a mobility scooter that was free.

Hey y'all, I ain't been on here in awhile. I am on so many forums whether it's tractor or car related I honestly forget about this place, but I'm back and working on another tractor project. If you are on the GTTALK or MyTractorForum forums then you probably seen I got another Craftsman but in a 6hp version. I will post a couple pictures of the tractor soon. The engine on it is seized but I been spraying some PB blaster in the spark plug hole everyday for almost a week now to see if it turns over by hand, I plan on putting some ATF in this coming week. I also been trying to get the rust outta the gas tank by putting some gravel rocks, some PB blaster and CLR in the tank and shaking it.

Sitting on my butt! Woke at about 1:30AM to go pee and nearly hit the floor. Left ankle decided it wanted pampered I guess. Hurts up into the arch, swollen over the ankle and top of my foot. Don't know why! Hard to walk much, right ankle is weak anyway.

Mostly sign work today, and some in house chores. I did split the little walk behind snowblower as the belt was slipping when I did the concrete areas yesterday. Got a measurement and ordered a new one. Measured the bore on the K321 best I could too.

Bought a gas stove yesterday so today's project is to get the electric stove out, line from the valve to the gas stove hooked up and back in place and leveled. Not really what I had in mind for today, but - - - - - .

Found out I did not have the right size flair nuts on the flex pipe I hand on hand. Now got to go chase down the right size flex pipe. Been waiting for a guy to show up that wanted to buy one of the tractors. Should have been here by noon. Called his wife and got his cell. Got lost, Missed his turn off. Big open intersection, 2 light poles, DOT highway green & white sign with NODAWAY on it. Now he backed out on the sale. One of those that get lost in their back yard.

I cut and hauled three loads of wood again from the woods the other day. I cut it up today and split about half of it. I’m nursing a handicapped wood handle on my splitting maul. I loaned it out last year and got it back with the handle all chewed up right below the head. I was so mad I asked him if he used the head any. I might cut it off and see how it feels about 4” shorter.

Oh, been messing with the plumbing for the hot water system. Not drips mind you, just itty bitty weeping. DW keeps complaining about it. This is my 3rd time at it in a week. The first go around was just trying to find parts that were available and getting it all layed out. pre covid, PVC elbows were a mere 39-cents. Well, in post covid $1.59 each at ACE Hardware. The other box stores were sold out !

Right now, I'm waiting out the pipe sealer goo to setup. Then it's show time or oh-no time. o_O
