What did you do with your tractor today?

A little more ready for $&@#. Got the Caster on the Case 446 this morning. Jumpins what a beepin thing to get on. Any way, still have to get the belt on, chains on, and make something to carry my weights. Got the thrower waxed and parts of the tractor. Finish it all up tomorrow, hopefully.

And a couple pictures of the snow removal team for this year. Same as last year, but thought you might like to see.

k241 thru k341 all use the same base block... so yes you can bore out a 301 and put a 321 piston in it... you can even put a 341 piston in it but then you would need a custom billet head since the stock 341 head has an extra bolt... and you should also have the valves and seats replaced aswell as bore out the intake port... this is why the puller guys like the 301s so much and it is all explained in detail on Brian Millers site

Used the snow shovel to clear the ramp and bit of the walk to the garage. Rest will let Ma Nature take care of it. She put it there. Haven't started the thrower tractor in 6 months. I was going to put it on but with the walk behind, 24" 2 stage and the loader tractor I doubt I would use the thrower. If I can't get out with the loader I'll give my neighbor a call. He uses his tale-handler to take care of the snow.

A little more done today to the 446. A weight carrier. Just out of stuff I had here. So about 50 to 55 lbs there. Easy on and off. Still need two bungee cords. What colour bungee do I get ????

So remove two bungee cords, lift off the two jugs and remove one bolt. That’s it, summer mode.

And, if I or someone get stuck. Easy to get some traction aid out of the jugs. Then refill.

Still have to get the belt on yet.

How much do those jugs weigh, that’s a good idea. Black on the bungee cords

Tractors are parked for the winter now. Dad pulled both my X570 and his X590 into the back of the garage and covered them up.

We put a plow, wheel weights and chains on the Cub 128. He has the capability to plow if he needs to.

Other than that tractoring is done for the year. They will wake from slumber in late March!

Yanny ha been out in the C-O-L-D unsheltered as the extra hay bales kept dry in her lean-to for the past 3 weeks. Today in this blistering cold, the last sq bale was used. It took another 30mins changing the lean-to from hay storage into the tractor shed. Just to cold to start Yanny and have diesel soot on the piston heads to move 20ft. So, come Tuesday of a 45F high, she'll park in her own dry spot once again and be ready for the snow work.

The blistering cold showed up 3 weeks early. gone thru 1 cord already. This is not normal weather for pre-Thanksgiving season of Fall.
