What did you do with your tractor today?

Moved tractor out of garage, winters over. Tractor Required boost which was when I discovered booster cables for my power pack were missing. Spent too much time looking, at 6 pm it clicked. Cables are still in winter emergency bag!

I took the snow blower off the MF10, working on getting plow on the sleeve hitch to plow a small part in the back yard where nothing will grow. Going to plow it dump some fall leaves on it and then till those under and then in the fall try planting grass again. The MF14, main mowing tractor, new seat was installed and worked on getting the parking brake working. A little bit of PB blaster and working the arms back and forth it is working now.

What did I do with my tractor.

Got stuck, is what I did. Trying to do some yard work.
Down she went, then got jammed up against a tree. Couldn’t go back, couldn’t go a head.
Jumpins.
So brought out the John Deere, had quite a time getting it out.
Drove over the spot with the John Deere and leveled it out.
MF 12 never really has good traction in any thing.
John Deere has great traction.

Hopefully it gives you a laugh any way.

Noel

Phone camera doesn't show the contrast of colors, but we had heavy down pours Friday morning. Even with my drain I put in, I got some rutting. Got Sears out and use front blade to pull some gravel back up. Between the washout and winter snow plowing, a lot got push to bottom of hill or piled up next to RR ties.

Maybe you should have added some weight Noel I'm being sarcastic. That was in there deep. Getting stuck is bad enough without being near a tree or fence.

I haven't mowed yet but it's ready, except for the parts of the back yard that have standing water from the last two blizzards. Picking up branches and mowing was the original plan for today, but bedbugs stopped that. It didn't take a tractor but the lady next door had a plug in her driveway culvert that is down flow from me. I figured it was leaves from my trees so while I was waiting for the exterminator I went and raked into the ends far as I could. It wasn't my leaves although there was some. I pulled a bunch of mud and gravel out and the flow got much better!

I'll pay tomorrow for all the block lifting, but I got the small deck put back.
