I should of did a mowing Monday but it was more like meander to the couch Monday.
Well, if I could just find some seed taters..................maybe you didn't miss... everyone around here that planted already, will be replanting because everything that was planted to date, has washed out in the last 4-5 days, had 9" of rain in my gauge.....
Needless to say, I missed out on a potato crop this year, but this evening I managed to get 3 rows of green beans, 4 bell pepper plants, 8 cabbage, and 5 eggplant stuck in the ground! Within the next several days, I hope to get squash, cucumbers, beets, and a few other things planted from seed. It's a real labor of love gardening on a slope. Lots of hilling to withstand a downpour..... I call it "dancing with a hoe"!
As long as a tater has eyes it will grow. Just buy a bag at the grocery cut them up and put them in the ground.Well, if I could just find some seed taters..................
