What did you do with your tractor today?

Hauled some compost to the raised beds and chicken manure to one of the gardens with the White 1855. I’ve got to get better rear tires or chains on this. Having 15” wheels limits my choices for something reasonable. I’m thinking about taking the studded truck snow tires off my MTD 990 and see how they work out.

Set of chains will make a big difference. I leave mine of the 1655 year around but don't use it much any more. About wore out and smokes like a mad Indian.
I run chains on my Sears SS15 with turfs and it goes everywhere. I bought a set of chains that were long enough but the description didn’t mention the cross chains stop 6-8” on each end. I can use them on the 12” tires for others.

Had to make the MF8E earn it's keep pushing snow today. It ran flawlessly, and did a great job as usual. It was still windy so using the snow blower on the patio sucked! Face got sandblasted with snow the whole time.

The full length skid pushed almost no gravel out into the grass. This gravel was just laid down last fall so still a bit loose too.

Nice to see the Executive earning its keep! Thanks for the pictures.
Now that I repowered mine with a Predator engine I need to use it more often.
I'd love to replicate your blade mounting bracketry. Or maybe do a mid-mount blade.

I have a pair of 225 75 x 15 studded passenger tires I would give you if you were a little closer

Nice job plowing Doug. Big area.
I didn’t do anything with my tractors, just looked at them.

Thanks! I think your driveway might be a little longer.

Were the tractors looking back at you, Noel?

Thanks, Rick! It's been a good workhorse for many years now. At least 30. I know I had it before my shop was built and that has been 30 years this year.

I didn't build this blade setup but I did do a lot of modification to it several years ago. There's probably a lot you can improve on. I can post some pics or send them in a message if you prefer. It is a cub cadet blade.

Yep.

I looked at my tractors again today. Hehe.
But, snow was a melting today. And that got me to thinkin I could start dismantling snow equipment on one or two tractors. But no where to put stuff yet outside. Still big banks. Driveway snow melted good today. Next 14 day forecast, most days above freezing mark.

Got 2 new front tires on my YM2610 (aka JD850). Dumb China tires dry rotted and cracked within 8 years. My Pa's 8N with the same 3-ribbed tires lasted decades!

Glad the rear tires still look new. :)

@Sawdust Love the fact you're outside already prepping the garden beds. We still have snow left up here.

It’s hard to believe some of these tires are 40 years or older and still in good shape. Our good weather didn’t last long it’s dropping down to 15 F tonight with up to 6” of snow by morning.

Don't worry, Sawdust will have snow on the ground shortly if not already. About an inch here so far and plenty more coming!
