Had a bunch of errands to run before I got to start mowing at 2. It was sprinkling rain off and on. Got to my "half way break" about 3:30, and it started raining hard. Got the MF12G into the shop before it got soaked. Needless to say, the back yard still needs to be mowed! Found an issue with the MF12G, will cover that in the what are you working on thread.

Busy day today did a couple hours in the garden then the rest of the day playing. It was good to get back in the shop and get some projects done or worked on. I got the Simplicity 3415H out to install the deck only to find out my belt is too small. I have a 84 1/2” belt and I need a slightly larger one. I’ll have to do some research on this.
You might remember last year I got a Craftsman DLT 2000 for free but had been repowered and had a different hood on it, one bolt in the seat, tins were off, dash frame missing bolts and wouldn’t start. I used my Simplicity 7117H with a boom bar and towed it to the shop. I pulled the deck out and was surprised how good it was. It’s a 48”, and made heavy duty and has new belts on it. I’ll check it out tomorrow and service it if it’s ok.
Tomorrow I’m going to see if I can get it running again. If I do I’ll start another thread or continue my thread on this from last year. My wife has named it “Hoopty”.

Nice to have a "wrecker" around for moving disabled tractors, Jim! That Craftsman looks like a pretty big tractor! I mow with a 42" deck. Never had anything bigger, like that 48" one. The engine looks pretty clean, as well as the rest of the tractor. Is "Hoopty" going to have a permanent home with you folks?

If I only had a hydraulic loader, but this winch operated one works good too. Just can’t lift and hold like a hydraulic one. So you adapt to its capabilities.
Set the wood on it and used a buck saw to cut it up. Or weave the branch through the loader arms makes it even easier to hold and cut. And can stand up and cut. Lot easier on my back. Little cold and damp today so have wood stove on low and after using the buck saw, I’m not cold any more. Coulda used the chainsaw. But I needed the exercise. Mountain ash is what I believe the wood is. Quite a few gone dead. Have a bigger one a little farther out the driveway I’m going to get hopefully today. Its about 8” to 10” at the base. So the chain saw will be used for that, other than the branches around 4” or so and smaller. Don’t want it to blow down on the car some day. Hurricane season coming in a few months.

Not a GT but the loader valve on our Kubota B2620 took a dump, no pun intended, but it stopped dumping in the middle of a project. Chased it down to the dump spool in the valve and we can't get the spool out . Trying to find someone local to rebuild it, rather than paying a grand to buy a new one. 'Have a good day.
Used the loader again today to cut up two more branches. Used the hand buck saw. This is one branch. Not much but gives the right and left arm some exercise sawing.
Couple more in there. I’ll get more some day soon. It’s to hot today at 70F to be out in the sun cutting wood with a hand saw.

No trailer here Jim. And I don’t do that much at once. My back like variety. Cut a bit, stack a bit, drive tractor, clean up brush and so on.

Got the mowing done today as I have errands to run tomorrow and it is going to be hotter too. Mowed the ditch out front too. It had been 2 weeks since it and the back yard was mowed, but the MF12G had no problems with it. Cottonwood needed to be cleaned off of the recoil at the half-way break.
The PTO belt I ordered was supposed to be 30" which is what the old one measured. It measures 29-1/2, making it a little too tight to disengage the mower deck so I put the belt back on that is almost broken. Belt still did the job. I ordered a 31" belt as I found a belt cardboard that said 31" on it in my 12G parts shelf.

Managed to get a test drive on the 446 today... still having some fuel issues and the hy-drive control stick likes to jump back to neutral position real easily but it moves under its own power.... Happy Happy 
For the first time in several days none of the tractors have been used. Although Victoris did put on her shoes, and climbed up and got Gertie's keys.
No tractor use but used the 4 wheeler. S[prayed some vine growin in some dead trees and alpong the mower shed. Some even started to grow up out of the ground inside. Never seen that before. opened the tip on the wand and hit a bunch of the weeds around the place. Will have to mow tomorrow when it dries off. Garden weeder work first, as long as I can take it.
