What did you do with your tractor today?

Holy cow, I used my MF 12 today. I cut down all the plants that are at the front of the house. They grow up every year. I like to clean out the dead stuff before winter. Helps keep the mice away. No where for them to hide.
Any way used the loader on the 12 to cart the stuff away. And Jumpins, never thought to get pictures. Ok. Let me have it.

I win! Me and the MF12G got to have our way with that drainage ditch out front! There was still some mud at the west end, furthest away in the pic, but was able to straddle it for the most part. Still mudded up the rear tires. Those turf tires don't clean themselves at all. I still mowed for two hours after that and they still were full of mud when I was done! Took a half hour just to blow the mud out of the tires when I was cleaning up the tractor to bring it in the shop. Mowing went well except I had to clean the tank's fuel screen about half way through. Brought the tractor in right at dark after a very nice day weather-wise. Probably was the last mow of the year since winter is supposed to blow in late tomorrow night.

So today I remembered to get the pictures. MF payloader and MF bulldozer cleaning up wood chips and saw dust.

Hung the jewellery, ready for winter now. I should have more cross chains,, these are automobile chains I snagged at flea market for $10View attachment 18345

Looks like a snow moving beast, Jazz! I've been thinking about ordering a bunch of crosslinks to convert a set of Jeep chains I bought at a rummage sale so I have two sets. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

I got Alice out yesterday to stretch her legs. Wanted to lube things up as the steering was getting tight again. Got all the zerks, but still tight. Finally used the oil squirt can to get some lube on the column just above the steering gears and it loosened back up. Put a little air in both rear tires to work the flat spots out (from sitting). Drove her around the neighbor hood to loosen things up good. Today is bath day for the show this weekend!

Been using the landscape rake on the Kubota to renew the driveways where the now dead crabgrass had taken over. Not finished, but 2 to 3 hours of it was all I could stand to do for one day. Plan to do more tomorrow.

I’m giving my tractor a birthday party. Hehe. 15 years ago today my son, 14 at time, and I bought this tractor. Been a lot of fun and some frustration at times. But great to have it and lots of memories.

Happy Birthday, tractor! What's it's present gonna be?

Tell it happy birthday while you are dumping in some gas for me, Noel! Glad you have such fond family memories with it!

I don't remember how many years I've had the MF8E real close to 30 now I think, I know for sure over 25. I got the 12G July 2011 and that old MTD 800 LT in my avatar has been around here since 1980. I haven't fired it up for around 8 or 9 years now.
