played hookie from work today. I dunno why but that's always been something hard to do for me.... I was actually driving and about halfway there when I called to see "how busy" we were/weren't gonna be today. I was gonna take off at noon regardless, that's not so hard for me to do (in my mind).... Yesterday I finally got my neighbor's trailer (because mine has the wheel wells inside the rails, way too narrow) and someone willing to actually go help me for once (I have a hard time of that too for some reason) and loaded up my truck bed plus my best pair of fenders, 2 core supports, and 2 tailgates for my truck project, its all going to the blaster guy today...
Then came home and loaded the cab and hood on my trailer and dug for other parts that need to go too like inner wheel wells etc..... still have one I cant find. I left the ones I have in storage because I knew I have 2 sets here, wound up the only driver side one I can find here isnt quite as "nice" as I thought so had to make a run back to the barn for one of the ones I left yesterday "knowing" what I had here.... I don't yet have room here for the leftovers still out at the barn/ but Im working on that.
The bad part is the other inner wheel well thats MIA has the only battery tray I know of among my stash still bolted to it... (weird/ its a pretty big piece not to be in plain sight, at least a corner of under other stuff) Taking stock of what additional parts I have I realized I have a BUNCH of passenger side sheet metal but "just enough" driver side sheet metal.... I dunno why I don't have the same number of doors and fenders for each side.... got a couple of Phillips screws to grind slots for a flathead screwdriver so I can get the handle out of one of my tailgates and get that off before it goes for blast... haven't I said before that I HATE PHILLIPS SCREWS!? taking 2 of a few parts for blast "just in case".... cheaper to get them done as a "bundle" than having to go back with just 1 part by itself later....
