What are you currently working on??

Go for it. That is about when I decided I didn't need that much work any more. Granddaughter went with me the last the years of the local county fair with her tractor. Then she got involved in other activities and they quit the Antique Days at the fair so figured it was a good time to bow out. Still have a Bolen G16XT with the sleeve hitch, self power tiller, plow and few other tillage items. Still have the granddaughters Ride-A-Matic with a cultivator. 99% original including the tires.

No such thing as plow days out here. Close as a person can get is tractor pulls for vintage machines and there are only 3 that I know of during the summer, and all are at least an hour from here, except the Sturgis one.

It's been too dang hot to do anything with tractors or any kind of outside work this week. Too hot to work out in the main bay of the shop even.

I have been putting together a bio for a long passed local dirt track racer that got inducted to the local Hall of Fame I am on the board of. It's a lot easier to get the info together for the ones that are still alive than it is for one that had been gone over 30 years!

Plowing in this part of the country is unheard of and most plows have gone for scrap at auctions. Everything is no till any more. With the rolling hills not so sure that is the way to go. When we planted on the contour and cultivated the row crops there was a mini terrace about every 3 feet. Not they want on big terrace every 250 feet or so.

I will be 78 next month. I'm hoping for 2 more years. Ball Hollow is about as far as I want to go. I need to go see Daniel anyway. Plow day or no plow day.
I got bad news from my Dr. today it will be 6 months before I can drive again. but the haven't taken my license. This year has been one big shit sandwich.

played hookie from work today. I dunno why but that's always been something hard to do for me.... I was actually driving and about halfway there when I called to see "how busy" we were/weren't gonna be today. I was gonna take off at noon regardless, that's not so hard for me to do (in my mind).... Yesterday I finally got my neighbor's trailer (because mine has the wheel wells inside the rails, way too narrow) and someone willing to actually go help me for once (I have a hard time of that too for some reason) and loaded up my truck bed plus my best pair of fenders, 2 core supports, and 2 tailgates for my truck project, its all going to the blaster guy today...
Then came home and loaded the cab and hood on my trailer and dug for other parts that need to go too like inner wheel wells etc..... still have one I cant find. I left the ones I have in storage because I knew I have 2 sets here, wound up the only driver side one I can find here isnt quite as "nice" as I thought so had to make a run back to the barn for one of the ones I left yesterday "knowing" what I had here.... I don't yet have room here for the leftovers still out at the barn/ but Im working on that.
The bad part is the other inner wheel well thats MIA has the only battery tray I know of among my stash still bolted to it... (weird/ its a pretty big piece not to be in plain sight, at least a corner of under other stuff) Taking stock of what additional parts I have I realized I have a BUNCH of passenger side sheet metal but "just enough" driver side sheet metal.... I dunno why I don't have the same number of doors and fenders for each side.... got a couple of Phillips screws to grind slots for a flathead screwdriver so I can get the handle out of one of my tailgates and get that off before it goes for blast... haven't I said before that I HATE PHILLIPS SCREWS!? taking 2 of a few parts for blast "just in case".... cheaper to get them done as a "bundle" than having to go back with just 1 part by itself later....

I got the new A/C cover on the motorhome today. Although I was 99% sure I ordered the right one I still had a small amount of doubt. It fit but one hole was punched about 1/2" off. Drilled it and they all lined up fine.

It seals tight against the foam inside so it should be good to go.

The UHF TV antenna coax is junk. I did a temporary splice, but I will have to buy some fittings and try to replace it from inside the crank assembly out to the head. Seems to work ok for now but it won't last long. Hopefully it will last for out trip to Denver next week if I don't get time to fix it this week.

I called them "mental health days".

Nice progress DT! Be cool if you had a dedicated build thread.

I know I've mentioned what I have going on a few times, didn't think most here would be interested because of the brand I choose....
I know I had pix of when I was welding on the cab... I thought I put them here...
I have spent time the last few days an hour or two at a time standing in front of my sandblasting cabinet cleaning door and hood hinges .. I have extras of those too... So the means I can pick the best of what I have...
All the small parts I've been blasting are headed to the powder coater
