What are you currently working on??

Was just an idea, DT. Pics are easy and to do what I did above I clicked on "Reply" next to the like button. When it comes to renaming links, I don't know how to do that either.

Who knows I might. Lots of catching up already if I did. But I often feel like I'm talking to myself on many of my posts, and I'm on more than just this site. Some worse than others, I often find myself adding such phrases as "if any of you out there care and/or actually reading" what I post...

Pulled out the awning for the first time too. Seems to work well.

We bought a different camper a couple of months ago. We haven't tried the awning yet nor did we on our last camper
On this one the PO ran thru the "how to" real fast, I didn't catch it all.... And he had a pair of vise grips on a shaft of some kind that sticks out the right end cap of the awning "roll" and I don't know what that did, there's a hole for something like a roll pin in the shaft that sticks out like there's supposed to be a lever or knob there of which I can't find separately to buy. It looks like I have to buy a right side spring assembly to get whatever handle/ knob is supposed to be there or else a whole new awning which is crazy expensive.
When they showed the camper to us originally when we first seen it for sale the awning was out and set up, the cloth definitely looks good.
I am having trouble identifying my awning, it's made by a company called carefree of Colorado, all parts I am finding are grouped together and everything I can find says it fits 2-3 models of that company's awnings.

I THINK I have their " fiesta" model, apparently the numbers on the arms are just for the arms, and there's another tag on the awning once I do have it open.... But I'm talking to others about it at camping stores and on a jayco forum that's the consensus but I'd like to be sure before I spend money on it... All else I know about it, is that from outside of awning arm to outside of awning arm mine measures 17'3". I don't know if the arms are supposed to be included in the length measurement for ID'ING parts or not.
Id like to get it working, our next outing "for sure" with it will be the covered bridge fest in parke county Indiana the week of Columbus Day. We might take it a weekend here or there in between now and then.

Not sure which way will go this morning. Depends on how wet it is. Went to a private collection gun auction yesterday. Lot of nice Marlin, Winchester and Browning guns, mostly LA's. Were mostly older models no longer produced and in new condition brought big $$, most in the $700 to $1200 range. This brought the price of the older used guns up too. Only thing I got was an old Remington Target Master .22 single shot, only because they are hard to find any more. Haven't been made since 1962.
