New project

Not much progress over the weekend on the Allis. The daughter this tractor being restored for is a nurse and she was on call this past weekend. Most of her patients are closer to my house than where she lives. She asked me if she could stay here Friday and Saturday while she is on call. I told her of course but then had to start moving painted allis parts to a different room. I also covered up the rear part of the tractor in the garage. She did not ask about what I was working on at the time so I may be able to finish this tractor without her knowing.

I did get the front main frame primed tonight, tomorrow it will be sanded. If the sanding doesn't take too long I should have it painted tomorrow night.

Most of Saturday was driving 1.5 hours one way to pick up a used camper. I plan on staying in Mt Pleasant for a few days this year for Old Threshers and didn't want to try sleeping in a pickup. Next Monday I will load up the Power King and the Minneapolis Moline and take down to exhibit for the show.

I did get the front frame bolted to the back last night.IMG_20250821_183244185.jpgIt was a pain to get the 8 bolts lined up. 4 on the sides and 4 on the inside which bolts to the 90 degree gearbox. I put the rear tires on also, my back today has reminded me what I did on the tractor yesterday.
This afternoon I worked on the new to me popup trailer. A front corner on the front storage compartment needed a wood panel replaced. It is almost ready for next week at Old Threshers.
